The Michigan Council of Women in Technology celebrated its ninth annual black-tie Signature Gala on Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Dearborn Inn. Ford Motor Company hosted the event, with proceeds benefiting the MCWT Foundation and its mission to inspire and grow the number of women in technology. The evening drew 500 attendees and included a cocktail reception, dinner, silent and live auctions and entertainment. The evening offered opportunities to network with professionals dedicated to the success of Michigan’s IT industry. MCWT’s vision is to make Michigan the No. 1 state for women in technology. The organization’s strategy is to reach young girls in an effort to strengthen their interest in tech careers.
