Automation Alley is rolling out a new and exciting program for 2015 that promises to put Southeast Michigan entrepreneurs on the path to startup success.
Dubbed the Automation Alley 7Cs program, this initiative is aimed at accelerating the growth of small business and startups across Southeast Michigan, with a specific emphasis on advanced manufacturing startups.
With help from Automation Alley’s entrepreneurship experts, 7Cs clients are guided through a customized seven-step process that includes intense coaching and a firm commitment from Automation Alley to invest resources and capital.
So, what are the seven Cs? Here’s a quick breakdown of each step in the process:
Step 1. Concept: Meet with our entrepreneurship team to determine if your startup is a good fit for the Automation Alley 7Cs program.
Step 2. Context: Develop a business model resulting in a working value proposition, and create a First Look sales pitch video.
Step 3. Clarity: Refine your value proposition through market research.
Step 4. Customers: Develop a prototype to take to market for analysis and feedback, explore crowdfunding where appropriate and secure first beta customer(s).
Step 5. Capital: Meet with investment entities to secure capital. With your first beta customer(s) secured, position your startup for investment.
Step 6. Commercialization: Enter the full Automation Alley networking stream to rapidly scale production, secure resources and create jobs.
Step 7. Community: Become an Automation Alley member and enjoy Silver Package membership benefits in order to tap into the membership base.
